David Schweim

Senior Designer and Team Leader David Schweim has a strong background in digital and parametric design tools used to create rational, performative, yet seductive spatial conditions.

His philosophy to design is based on discovering the soul of a project and building relationships that reinforce that central concept through massing, space and articulation.

David is currently the Team Leader for AS+GG’s new residential tower projects in Miami and Boston. He previously was the Team Leader and Senior Designer for Central Park Tower, now under construction in New York City. He has also been an integral design leader in the major icon tower projects at the firm including Dancing Dragons, Jeddah Tower, and Meraas Tower. In addition to leading design teams, David is a leader in AS+GG’s Computation and Visualization efforts.

Prior to joining AS+GG in 2008, David worked at Brett Webber Architects in Philadelphia from 2007-2008; Carter & Burgess in Boston from 2004-2006 and McManus Peterson Architects also in Boston, from 2003-2004.
